Who are the dancers selected for the Ljubljana Workshop?

We asked the 10 dancers to think about what they are looking forward to in this journey, and they came up with some pretty amazing keywords:

build • share • ground-breaking • generating change • prospects • opportunity

process • openness • space • inside-outside • mind • timing • cultural capital

 awareness • action • safe space • motivation • learning • creation

Performing Gender - Dance Makes Differences project is starting a new exciting phase with the workshops. From September to December 2018 each dance maker together with the local dance dramaturg will design and organize a workshop for 10 young dancers. In the next months, we will present you each group and the first one is going to be in Ljubljana: it will be a group composed by Slovenian and Italian young dancers, thanks to a collaborative selection among City of Women, Cassero LGBTI Center and CSC - Centro per la Scena Contemporanea.  We already discussed here in our latest news the content and expectations for this event with the local dramaturg, Tea Hvala, and the dance maker, Koldo Arostegui González.
